Recreational Pilot Permit Canada

A Recreational Pilot Permit (RPP) allows you to fly by day with one passenger within Canada in VFR conditions. The RPP does not allow you to add endorsements such as a night or multi-engine rating. However, if you are intending to fly by day and in good weather conditions, then this is a great option.

Private Pilot License Ground School

While a formal Ground School is not required for the Recreational Permit, it is recommended that RPP students attend our Private Pilot License ground school. Attending the ground school will broaden your depth of knowledge and allow for an easier transition should you later choose to upgrade to a PPL.
